The Vates colorimeter is a USBTMC compatible device which makes use of standard VISA drivers, just like all Admesy products.
VISA drivers for use with our devices can be found on the NI website.
To run our software, the VISA runtime engine for your platform will be needed.
In order to develop software for our devices a valid VISA development license (included in Labview) is needed. You can develop software in Labview / Labwindows/ C++/ C# /Visual Basic and any other language that is capable of communicating with VISA.
Operating our devices using open source libusb is also possible. Please contact us for further information regarding this option.
Additionally the Vates can be controlled via Ethernet. This requires no additional drivers.
